The vehicles cooling system keeps the engine, and sometimes the transmission and other components, at the correct operating temperature. During normal operation, the cooling system, which includes the water pump, thermostat, and radiator, will cool your vehicles engine, and prevent it from overheating. When there becomes a malfunction within the cooling system, which is typically from the fluid deteriorating and breaking down components it comes in contact. When this begins to happen, you may notice that your vehicle is running hotter than normal. It may even begin to produce a steam under the hood, which is the water being over heated and pushed out of the radiator. To protect your system from breaking down, it is important to flush the system periodically to replace the destructive coolant with fresh and effective fluids. If a problem occurs, our ASE Certified Auto Technician can diagnose and repair it quickly and properly.
